Delay

Well, the book was set to debut before Christmas. Looking like the original plan is back on. The publisher originally wanted the book for the spring or fall catalogue in 06. We thought we could get it done earlier, but alas, not to be. So, I won't have it out by the time school starts. :( Oh well, probably better this way. Won't have to rush the artwork. :) This is the fam at the Helen Trout Zoo. I'm taking the pic. Trust me, it's better this way. LOL The extra child on the far left is a friend of my grandson's. We love this zoo. Lots of green everywhere, as you can see. The day was very hot, but they have frequent rest spots with fans. Lovely.

Dawn of Pelayaces

The artwork for Dawn is coming together. I may have the book in hand by Christmas. I hope so because I have several evernts coming up and will need the copies. I've never written a book which needed so much extensive artwork. I am enjoying this part of the process. I have another book in need of artwork and will have to get started on it next. Then, it'll be time to think about Pocket Full of Die.

Finally Finished

Well finally!!! I am so happy to announce that I am finally finished with Dawn of Pelayaces. The book is a science fiction/fantasy chap book. My first. I am very excited and plan to send it to the publisher later this week. The book is now with my editor who is possibly more excited than I am. LOL I expected to have the book a lot sooner than I did, but sometimes the creative muse takes its own sweet time. :D I can't wait to share it with you. Hope you like reading it as much as I loved writing it. Onward and upward. Cathy
